  • Daily weight logs
    Record your weight daily or each time you visit the site and it will be charted so that you can see changes over time. This is the best way to keep track of your weight loss (or maintenance) goals.
  • Food database
    The Mikibo food database has over 30,000 foods, and is growing every day. Our advanced food search system allows you to find the nutritional value of a food with a simple search and add it to your food diary with a few clicks. You are also able to add new foods to the database.
  • Food diary
    Your food diary will help you to learn where modifying your diet will be of most benefit. Mikibo makes it easy for you to calculate the amount of energy you are consuming, which can be very time consuming to do by hand. You will also gradually learn to judge sensible portion sizes as well as which foods are more fattening.
  • Exercise database
    With over 100 exercises you can use the exercise database to automatically calculate your calories burned doing different activities.
  • Exercise diary
    Track how much energy you are burning up each day through physical activity. View charts to see if you are meeting the recommended levels of exercise. Compare how much energy you burn with how much you are eating.
  • Nutrient intake record
    When you use the food diary your intake of major nutrients is recorded. You are then able to check whether you are meeting your daily requirements.
  • Energy and fat charts
    View your intake of fat and total energy graphically to help stay motivated and to visualize your daily and weekly goals. Also view your energy burned and the amount of time you spend exercising each day.
  • Group foods
    If you always eat certain foods together (such as breakfast cereal with milk) then you can group them together so that in the future you only need to add the group rather than the individual food items.
  • Support groups
    Join in the discussions in the Mikibo support groups. Groups range from weight loss and quitting smoking to running and cycling.
  • Personalized training plans
    Sign up for a training plan to get you started. Each plan is based on specific outcome goals, like getting fit for summer or losing weight.
